Before You Write
Who is Aedena Rovers and where are you based?
Aedena Rovers is a private Kenya safari house founded by a Kenyan based in Belgium, with a full ground operations team in Nairobi. We are our own licensed company — all bookings, invoices, and contracts are with Aedena Rovers directly. One person is your point of contact throughout, reachable from Europe.
Can I pay in Euros or Swiss Francs?
We quote in USD as the international safari standard, but we can invoice in EUR or CHF on request. Please mention your currency preference when enquiring and we will accommodate it from the outset.
How far in advance should I book?
For peak season (July–October, Great Migration) we recommend 9–12 months in advance, particularly for Giraffe Manor and Angama Mara which have very limited availability. Low season travel can often be arranged within 4–6 weeks.
What does "fully inclusive" mean exactly?
All lodge accommodation, all game drives (private vehicle exclusively for your party), all meals and non-premium beverages, all park and conservancy fees, and all internal transfers. International flights to and from Nairobi are not included — we can recommend trusted flight options on request.
Is Kenya safe for European travellers?
Kenya's safari reserves — Masai Mara, Amboseli, Laikipia, Samburu — are very safe and well-established tourism zones. We brief every client on current conditions before travel, and our ground team is reachable throughout your trip. For the most current advisory, check the German Auswärtiges Amt, Swiss EDA, or Luxembourg MFA.
Do you only do Kenya, or also Tanzania?
Kenya is our specialist focus — it is where our ground team and guide relationships are deepest. For beach extensions we work with Zanzibar and coastal Tanzania partners. Multi-country itineraries including Tanzania safari are available and we will be transparent about where we draw on partner relationships versus our own operations.
What is the Three Flagship Packages difference?
The Generations Safari (from $7,200/adult) is built for multigenerational families with two private vehicles always. The Intimate Kenya (from $9,400/person) is for milestone couples — honeymooners, anniversaries — with a balloon and bush dinner included. The Kenya Nobody Knows (from $12,800/person) is for return travellers who want to see the Kenya beyond the Masai Mara. Each package was built around a specific market gap.
What is the consultation fee?
We charge a €350 planning consultation fee for serious enquiries. This is credited against your booking. It ensures we invest our planning time only with guests who are genuinely ready to book, and it guarantees you a dedicated named consultant who will work through your entire itinerary with you in detail.
